[hello cat! aerith does not actually seem to mind the rudeness, though she does frown a little at those words. oh dear. that's not great! there is a nice, lovely scrawling of loss on her forearm that may or may not be hidden by her bracelets as she waves.]

It could, but there's the caveat that comes with it, you know? [easier to die.] It would be nice if we knew how much stronger the power would be after finding a match.

[ izutsumi is here, sitting near the barn but with a good distance from it. she's plopped next to a tree in the middle of licking up to the tip of own tail. despite her clear grooming, she seems distracted given she's hard staring at the fog in the distance. ]
[this is fair. she's busy walking, and she's probably approaching the barn maybe looking for caelus or something, but she sees izutsumi hanging out and she stops to watch her for a moment.]

[today on middle summer island, aerith is taking a little walk through the neighborhood and peering curiously at the seemingly abandoned houses. perhaps izutsumi is hunting nearby, or even is just perched on a house.]

Maybe. [she folds her arms over her chest to think, but she watches izutsumi curiously. fog or no fog, those people aren't here right now. it's something she can think on later.]

Neither I have. Someone told me about the insides of the houses, but I haven't looked yet. Plus there's an orchard and the ranch out there. Lots more to see than what's in the town.

For all we know that's exactly what the cult wants. [maybe the cult believes if they are all caged they'll just take each other out. (this is partially true, but no!!!)] But we were never able to go too far past the fog. That has to mean there's something else out there.
Checked out the ranch with Horns for a bit. Was a nice place to nap in.
