[ izutsumi is here, sitting near the barn but with a good distance from it. she's plopped next to a tree in the middle of licking up to the tip of own tail. despite her clear grooming, she seems distracted given she's hard staring at the fog in the distance. ]
[this is fair. she's busy walking, and she's probably approaching the barn maybe looking for caelus or something, but she sees izutsumi hanging out and she stops to watch her for a moment.]

It opened up a bit when I met with Famine yesterday. [ points in the direction where npcs were introduced at ] But outside that, no. Still looks the same.

Pestilence told me it might change on its own, but I don't know when that might be. They can't really predict it either. [watching the fog...] But I kind of hope it's soon. It's getting a little stifling being here.

For all we know that's exactly what the cult wants. [maybe the cult believes if they are all caged they'll just take each other out. (this is partially true, but no!!!)] But we were never able to go too far past the fog. That has to mean there's something else out there.
Yeah. The fact that it knew specifically where we were to stop us from leaving is a little creepy, if I'm honest. We were all stuck by the pyre even though it's out in the open. We tried everything, and even before that night some of us tried leaving the first day here and kept winding up where we started.
[it's not weird, but it's still creepy. those are two different concepts in aerith's mind because she's well aware of how magic can fuck up stuff, but...it does not make her feel any more settled. especially without her own magic.]
But then doesn't the problem become not knowing where the source is yet?
