[ hospital time, i wish izutsumi could go wandering around but she's still temporarily blind and is probably sitting outside of her room waiting. probably for Aventurine to take her to the penthouse next but in the meantime her ears twitch and her head turns in the direction of Aerith.
[OUR CAT...aerith does not want to stay in the hospital and in fact asked cloud to take her home post-springs, but she figures the others might be there. so she went. she's healed up enough to close her wounds, but everything's still pretty sensitive to the touch. izutsumi can't see her, and that's maybe for the best because she's unnaturally pale and her eyes are glowing.
her head's also still spinning, but she stops in front of her to make sure she doesn't spook her.]
...it's Aerith. [gentle worried vibes, but also a little unease.]
[ aerith is so valid, and i am madge izutsumi can't see how UNWELL SHE LOOKS. me having updates in which izutsumi looks thoroughly bandaged, has a shoulder splint on, with notable bandages wrapped around her eyes.
ears perk at the sound of those steps coming to a stop, feeling those emotions come in and her own spike in some guilt before mellowing to something.. hollow. ] Oh.
[ she shifts a little, tail lowering with small flicks. ] I heard some of the commotion earlier... are you..?
[izu your EYES?? the emotions shift to something worried herself because this looks...bad? and she didn't even really know what happened to izutsumi and karlach both after her death. it's half the reason she went to seek her out.]
...better. Cloud and I went to the springs. [where she proceeded to fall apart as, like, several sets of memories hit her, but it's fine.] It'll take time to heal everything though. That goes for both of us.
[ a nod. well, Aerith is the better of them both, considering Izutsumi has only sought out basic treatment but at least it's from Daan and Nehan both. so she's well thoroughly bandaged where needed, probably stitched up in places where it's even worse. ]

[ not like she can turn her way. even if there's a slight bit guilt because yeesh... they sure were tasked to kill the three of them at the end there. ]
[sometimes you pass out and your protag just dunks you in the water. she's really just glad izu got treatment at all, considering.
with that, she does sit down! she keeps a polite distance as to not crowd her, but close enough she can sense her and hear her. the emotional feedback is still just...calm. and a little worried.]
...it's gonna take a while for all of us to get past this, I think. It was kinda scary for everybody.
